Gear up alts to 660 in ONE DAY or Gear up character to 680 FAST in Patch 11.1.7

This guide provides a structured approach to reaching item level 660 in one day and 680 fast, taking advantage of all available systems in patch 11.1.7. Follow the phases in order for optimal progression.

Starting Gear

You will first need some starting gear to be able to run around and start gearing up. You don´t need much even 580 ilvl is enough.

To get just some decent starting gear it is all about what you have done in the game before this character that you will gear up.

Auction House

There are a lot of cheap stuff on the AH and you can get full gear of 580 for just some thousand gold in total.

Warbound Delve vendor

If you have unlocked the veteran Warbound Gear in the Delve vendor, you can buy some there on a character that has undercoin and then send the gear to your gearing up character.

Warbound - Dastardly Duos

If you have run Dastardly Duos on another character, you will always get Veteran Gear that is Warbound everytime you complete a duo. Check if you have some gear and send it to you gearing up character.

Warbound - Nightfall Scenario

If you have run Nightfall Scenario on another character, you will always get Veteran Gear that is Warbound everytime you kill and loot the boss at the end of the scenario, also the bags that you get in the scenario can also contain veteran gear. Check if you have some gear and send it to you gearing up character.

Other Warbound Gear

Basically, the content you do with a character will always have a chance to drop Warbound gear that is one tier below the difficulty you do. For example, if you do content that drops Champion gear, then you will have a chance on getting veteran gear as warbound gear as well. If you do Hero gear difficulty, you can get champion warbound gear and so on. Check if you have some gear and send it to you gearing up character.
