Phase 2: Turbo Boost is here, supercharging progression and loot opportunities for all World of Warcraft players! This phase brings significant changes to Valorstones, Warbound gear, Cartel Chips, and much more. Here’s a detailed breakdown of all the new features and upgrades.
Valorstones and Warbound Gear: New Opportunities
Valorstones are now Warbound and transferrable, making it easier to gear up your alts and friends.
Champion Gear for PvE and PvP: You can now purchase Warbound Champion Gear using Valorstones, whether you prefer dungeons or the battlefield.
Mythic+ Improvements: Double the Drops
M+ Warbound Gear: The drop chance for Warbound gear from Mythic+ dungeons has been doubled, making your runs even more rewarding.
Increased Valorstones and Crests: Delves now yield more loot, such as 10 Runed Crests instead of 7 in some cases.
Cartel Chip Questline: Collect & Trade
Cartel Chips:
Earn 4 Chips in the first week, then 1 additional chip each week.
Maximum of 9 Chips can be collected in total.
Completing the Cartel Chip quest currently requires normal raid difficulty or higher.
Cartel Chips Vendor: Use your chips to buy powerful gear upgrades.
Hero Gear: Requires defeating bosses on normal raid or higher.
Myth Gear: Requires bosses on mythic raid difficulty, or beating the timer in all Season 3 Mythic+ dungeons at level 12 or higher.
Trinkets, Currency, and Catalyst Upgrades
Buy Hero Trinkets from Zahran inside the Delves.
The purchase currency has changed from Resonance Crystal to Untainted Mana-Crystal (earned from Bountiful Chests at tier 9 or higher).
Ethereal Voidsplinter is now tracked in your currency tab.
Earn more from Mythic+ dungeons, Manaforge Omega, Delves, and rated PvP to fuel the Catalyst.
Quality of Life Upgrades
Crest Cap Removed: No more limits on how many crests you can collect!
Brann XP and Delver’s Journey Reputation have been increased in delves, helping you progress through the rewards track faster.
