What Rewards Are Not Available in Legion Remix

Legion Remix is a special event in World of Warcraft that brings back much of the Legion expansion’s content and rewards. However, not everything from the original Legion era is making a return. Some of the most prestigious and skill-based rewards will remain exclusive to players who earned them when Legion was current content.

To maintain the legacy and exclusivity of certain achievements, Blizzard has decided that the following rewards will not be obtainable during Legion Remix:

  • Mage Tower Artifact Appearances: These unique weapon skins, earned by completing challenging Mage Tower encounters, will remain locked to those who conquered the content during Legion’s original run. Even though many players hope for their return, Blizzard has confirmed they will stay exclusive

  • Artifact Weapon Appearances from PvP: Special appearances tied to PvP accomplishments in Legion are also not coming back. These were awarded for high-level PvP play and are considered a mark of skill and dedication.

  • Seasonal PvP Gear: Gear sets that were only available during specific PvP seasons in Legion will not be reintroduced. These sets are reserved for those who participated and excelled during those original seasons.

These exceptions represent a very limited group of rewards, chosen specifically to honor the efforts of players who earned them when they were most challenging to obtain.

Blizzard’s philosophy is to preserve the prestige and historical significance of certain accomplishments. By keeping these rewards exclusive, they ensure that the players who earned them during Legion’s heyday retain a unique mark of distinction. This approach is consistent with previous Remix events, such as Pandaria Remix, where some rewards also remained unobtainable to protect their legacy.

What Can You Still Earn in Legion Remix?

While some rewards are off-limits, Legion Remix will offer a huge variety of other items, including:

  • Previously retired rewards like the Mythic Chosen Dead ensembles and the Violet Spellwing mount.

  • Gear from the Legion pre-launch event.

  • Brand new items and never-before-seen color variants of Legion rewards.

This means there’s still plenty to chase, even if the most prestigious rewards remain exclusive.
