Week 1: Patch Launch Highlights

Turbo Boost Returns

Turbo Boost is back for Season 3, supercharging your gearing and progression. This system is designed to help you and your Warband (your account-wide roster of characters) catch up and power up faster than ever before.

Key Features Available Immediately

  • Upgrade Myth and Hero Track Gear Two More Ranks:
Both Myth and Hero upgrade tracks are extended from 6 to 8 steps, allowing you to further enhance your endgame gear.

  • Profession Gear Upgrades:
Crafted gear can now be upgraded or recrafted with an Augmentation Matrix, boosting item level by 3 or 6, depending on the item. Augmentation Matrices are available from Enchanting Supply vendors in Dornogal.

  • PvP Gear Upgrades:
PvP gear can now be upgraded or crafted up to item level 730, giving competitive players a new power ceiling.

  • Champion Gear for Valorstones:
You can now buy PvE or PvP Champion Gear that is Warbound (account-bound until equipped) using Valorstones, making it easier to gear up alts.

  • Crest Cap Removed:
The cap on Crests, a key currency for gear upgrades, is lifted, allowing for unlimited acquisition and faster progression.

  • D.I.S.C. Belt Nerfs:
The following D.I.S.C. Belt abilities have had their damage and stat effects reduced by 20%:

    • Charged Bolts

    • Charged Crystal

    • Critical Chain

    • Electric Current

    • Spark Burst

    • Static Charge

  • Mark of the Twilight Oath:
This item may now be deleted, freeing up inventory space.

  • More Character Slots:
Players receive 5 additional character slots on their WoW account, expanding your roster potential.

Week 3: Even More Upgrades and New Systems

Two weeks after launch, Patch 11.2.5 turns up the rewards and introduces new systems to keep the momentum going.

Turbo Boost Expands

  • Valorstones Become Warbound and Transferrable:
Valorstones can now be transferred across your Warband, making it easier to share resources between characters.

  • Mythic+ Warbound Gear Double Drop Chance:
The drop rate for Warbound until Equipped gear from Mythic+ dungeons is doubled, greatly increasing your chances to gear up alts.

Cartel Chip System

  • Cartel Chip Quests:

    • Earn 4 Puzzling Cartel Chips in Week 1 by defeating 4 raid bosses on Normal difficulty or higher, or by completing 4 Mythic0 dungeons.

    • After Week 1, you can earn 1 chip per week, up to a maximum of 9 per character.

    • The minimum requirement for the chip quest is currently Normal raid difficulty.

  • Cartel Chip Vendor:

    • Fixer So’kir and Fixer So’tho will appear in Dornogal, offering powerful weapons, trinkets, and cantrip items from Season 3 dungeons and Manaforge Omega in exchange for Puzzling Cartel Chips.

    • To buy Hero track gear, you must have defeated the associated boss on Normal difficulty or higher.

    • To buy Myth track gear, you must have either defeated the associated boss on Mythic difficulty or completed all Season 3 Mythic+ dungeons at Mythic 12 or higher (unlocking the Resilient Keystone system).

  • Buy Hero Trinkets from Zah’ran in Delves:
The currency for these trinkets changes from Resonance Crystal to Untainted Mana-Crystal, which you can obtain from Tier 9 or higher Bountiful Chests in Delves.

Additional Week 3 Improvements

  • Ethereal Voidsplinter:
Now appears in your currency tab, and you can earn more from Mythic+ dungeons, Manaforge Omega, Delves, and rated PvP to fuel the Catalyst.

  • Delve Rewards Increased:

    • More Valorstones and Crests are available inside Delves (e.g., 10 Runed Crests instead of 7).

    • Delver’s Journey progress per week is significantly increased from Bountiful Coffers, Nemesis Strongboxes, and end-of-run grants.

    • Tiers 9 and above can drop Champion 1/8 Warbound equipment.

  • Untainted Mana-Crystals:
These can be traded with Zah’ran for Hero track trinkets after reaching rank 3 of the Delver’s Journey.

Legion Remix: A Time-Limited Seasonal Event

  • Recent Allies Tab:
A new “Recent Allies” tab is added to the Social frame, displaying characters you’ve recently interacted with. Recent Allies are marked with a yellow person icon in chat.

  • Cooldown Manager:
A new frame allows you to order, hide, or unhide spells and buffs. Access this via Edit Mode or the Options Menu. You can configure cooldowns as Essential or Utility, and display buffs as icons or bars. Many new spec spells and auras are included (disabled by default), and you can drag spells between categories or disable them entirely.

  • Edit Mode Improvements:

    • Hovering over enabled frames in Edit Mode now highlights the frame and displays “Click to Edit.”

    • Hovering over a blue frame shows “Click to Edit” and the frame name as a tooltip.
