EVERYTHING in Week 1 for Player Power - Patch 11.2 - Ghost of Karesh

Everything Available in Week 1 of Patch 11.2 (WoW)

Overview

  • The first week of 11.2 gives access to most major content: Outdoor Activities, Dungeons, Delves, and Reputation.

  • Here’s a detailed breakdown of what you can do, what you can earn, and some important tips for maximizing your rewards.

Outdoor Content

  • Main Quest Line:

    • 5 chapters total, but only up to chapter 3 available in week 1.

    • Chapter 4 contains the quest skip for alts, but as of now, only up to 3 is open—could be inconvenient for alts if not fixed.

  • Side Quests:

    • 11 available at launch; all can be completed in week 1.

    • Some have had bugs (like “In Search of Darkness”), but these are being addressed.

  • World Quests:

    • 22 total per week (11 active at any one time, then rotate halfway through the week).

    • Special Assignments and Weekly Activities (3 per week):

      • Warrants: Unlocked after reaching phase diving (requires questline chapter 3).

        • Rewards Ethereal Wraps (artifact back upgrade).

      • Phase Diving: Also has a weekly quest, rewards Untethered Coin (for cosmetics).

      • Ecological Succession:

        • Ongoing storyline, each week focuses on different animal species (week 1: bees).

        • 3 weekly quests and 1 daily quest (bees).

        • Rewards: Carved Crests (upgrade currency).

  • Echo Dome Activity:

    • Fill a bar by taking care of the echodome; rewards a Wriggling Box containing veteran gear.

  • World Boss:

    • Spawns in the new zone, drops random champion gear (ilvl 688) (can be any armor type).

  • Other Outdoor Rewards:

    • Upgrade for your back

    • Carved Crests

    • Veteran gear (from box and possibly caches)

    • Explorer/Adventure gear (from world quests)

    • Key fragments for Relic Coffer Key (important for delves/rewards).

Dungeons

  • 8 Dungeons Available:

    • Includes both versions of Echodome Hall of Tandesh, Arak Ara, Sos, Dawnbreaker, Private Secret, Flame, and Floodgate.

    • All 8 are open in week 1, except for hard mode of Tazes (not until later).

  • Difficulties & Gear:

    • Normal: ilvl 639, unlimited runs.

    • Heroic: ilvl 665, upgradeable to 678; “Adventure” gear (upgrade with valor stones/weathered crests).

    • Mythic 0: ilvl 682 “Champion” gear; once per week per dungeon.

  • Summary:

    • Adventure gear is farmable from normals/heroics.

    • Champion gear is a chance from dungeons and world boss.

Delves

  • Tiers 1–4:

    • All unlocked week 1; higher tiers must be unlocked.

    • Start fresh—no curios, need to earn them again.

  • Crests:

    • Runed & Gilded Crests are gone; now it’s Carved Crests (up to tier 11, tier 11 gives 10 crests).

    • Likely: Tier 7+ gives carved crests, below that gives weathered.

  • Rewards:

    • Bountiful Delves & Coffer Chests:

      • Each coffer key chest = 1 piece of guaranteed champion gear (up to 4–5 per week depending on key fragments).

    • Carved Crests from side chests (not the coffer key chest).

      • These are used to upgrade champion and veteran gear.

  • Gear Recap:

    • Champion gear: Guaranteed from coffer chests, chance from M0 dungeons and world boss.

    • Veteran gear: Guaranteed from outdoor activity (wriggling box), possibly from caches.

    • Adventure gear: From dungeons and world quests.

Reputation

  • Do you need to grind rep?

    • Not really! Only necessary for specific profession items or cosmetic unlocks.

    • Profession Renown 5: Needed for special crafting (vanish potion, best gems for artifact back, etc).

    • Renown 7: Offers a piece of veteran gear, but reaching it in week 1 is tough.

      • If you do everything plus Darkmoon Faire buff and hats, you might barely reach renown 7.

      • Without DMF, you likely won’t make it to 7 in week 1.

Key Tips

  • Do all 11 side quests, world quests, and outdoor weeklies for max rewards.

  • Prioritize key fragments for delve coffer chests—guaranteed champion gear!

  • Don’t stress about rep unless you need profession unlocks.

  • Check the questline skip situation for alts (may change post-launch).

  • Delve tiers 1–4 are open—go for carved crests and champion gear early!

In short:
Week 1 of 11.2 offers a ton of gearing and progression opportunities through outdoor activities, dungeons, and delves.Champion gear is very accessible if you focus on delves and dungeons. Veteran gear comes from specific outdoor activities and possibly rep. Don’t stress about rep unless you’re focused on professions or cosmetics!
