Upgrading your Reshii Wraps in World of Warcraft is a rewarding progression system in The War Within. This guide will walk you through how to collect the required materials, where to go, and what to expect from each upgrade.
Step 1: Collecting Ethereal Strands
To empower your Reshii Wraps, you’ll need Ethereal Strands. Here’s how to gather them:
Delves: Earn Strands by participating in Delves and opening the chests at the end.
Mythic+ Dungeons: Complete Mythic+ dungeons (Season 3 of The War Within) for a chance at Strands, including from the final chest.
PvP Matches: Engage in PvP activities to obtain Strands as rewards.
K’aresh Warrant Quests: Finish special quests in K’aresh for guaranteed Strands.
Manaforge Omega Raid: Defeat raid bosses for additional Strand drops.
Tip: You need 3 Ethereal Strands for each upgrade.
Step 2: Find Hashim in Overlook Zo’Shuul
Once you have enough Strands, head to Overlook Zo’Shuul—the same place where you first received your Reshii Wraps. Look for Hashim, the NPC responsible for empowering your cloak.
Step 3: Upgrading Your Reshii Wraps
Talk to Hashim and choose the option to upgrade your cloak.
Spend 3 Ethereal Strands to increase your cloak’s rank.
Each upgrade unlocks:
New talents for your character
Enhanced visual effects
Higher item level for your cloak
Your Reshii Wraps can be upgraded up to five times.
Additional Notes & Progression Details
Time-Gated Upgrades: You can only upgrade your Reshii Wraps once per week, but catch-up mechanics exist if you’re behind.
Talent Unlocks: Each rank provides a unique talent. The first rank unlocks the “Boon of the Reshii” (a specialization-based passive).
Final Appearance: The ultimate upgrade gives you the Regalia of the Reshii and exclusive cosmetic effects.
Scaling Features: Both Ethereal Energy procs and Fiber sockets for secondary stats improve as you upgrade.
