Moudi’s Overview of the New Bank System Changes
Bank Tab Expansion and Slot Calculation
Each bank tab now has 98 slots. Moudi counts six tabs, which totals 588 slots (6 x 98 = 588). He’s surprised by how much storage space this provides compared to before.
Tab Unlocking: Previously, you had to buy each bank tab for increasing amounts of gold (1g, 100g, 500g, 1,000g, 2,500g, 5,000g). Now, all six tabs are automatically unlocked when your character reaches level 80. You don’t have to purchase them individually anymore.
For characters below level 80, the number of available tabs depends on how many bank bag slots you had before the update. The system adapts to your previous setup.
Reagent Bank and Void Storage Changes
Reagent bank has been removed. Instead, any bank tab can now be set as a reagent tab. There’s a dedicated reagent slot, and you can choose which tab to use for reagents.
Void storage has also been removed. When you first log in after the patch, all your void storage items are automatically moved into your bank tabs. Moudi warns that the first character you log in with will receive all the void storage items, so he suggests logging in with a character you don’t care much about to avoid cluttering your main character’s bank.
Tips and Warnings from Moudi
If there’s anything you need from your void storage or old bank, move it to your bags before logging in after the patch. Moudi recalls people losing items during previous bank changes, so he recommends being cautious and proactive.
The new bank system copies the “Warband” bank options, letting you filter by equipment, consumables, profession goods, reagents, and junk.
There’s a “clean up” feature that sorts your bank, and you can choose to ignore certain tabs when cleaning up, which Moudi really likes.
A “deposit all reagents” button makes it easy to move all reagents into the bank at once.
Moudi’s Final Thoughts
Moudi is very positive about the changes, calling it “the best thing that ever happened” for storage, though he jokes that he’ll probably fill up all the slots in a day.
He expects players will spend hours organizing their banks by expansion, reagents, and more, now that there’s so much space and flexibility.
