The Thalassian Recipe in a Bottle is a new fishing item introduced in patch 12.1. It can drop while fishing and contains profession recipes added in both patch 12.1 and the earlier 12.0 content. Once you have collected the new 12.1 recipes, the bottle begins awarding the full pool of 12.0 + 12.1 recipes.

  • Unlock access to Second Mate Sluggs, the reputation vendor for Captain Tokka.

  • Purchase the Eerie Lure.

  • Also buy perception-increasing items from the same vendor (or better alternatives if you already have them):

    • Root Crab

    • Sin’dorei Angler’s Rod (or any higher-quality fishing rod you have access to)
