Week 2 Checklist: Maximizing Gear Progression, Crests & Sparks
Week 2 is another excellent window to upgrade your gear, cap resources, and farm Sparks.
Tick these off in any order that fits your playtime, but prioritize Pinnacle Caches + Prey Hunts first for the fastest upgrades.
1. Pinnacle Caches (7 available – do these early!)
Each cache gives: 100 Voidlight Marl + Renown + 20 Adventurer Crests
(First 2 also reward 1 Adventurer Gear item each)
- Harandar – Legends of Haranir
- Voidstorm – Stormarion Assault
- Zul’Aman – Abundance
- Eversong – Saltheril’s Soiree
- Special Assignment (tied to World Quests)
- Silvermoon – Weekly Aiding (also gives 1 Spark – see below)
Priority tip: Knock out the first two early for the free Adventurer Gear pieces.
2. Spark Quests (If you didn’t finish last week)
- All Spark Quests tied to the weekly activities
- Silvermoon Weekly Aiding Quest (guaranteed Spark – required for crafting)
3. Prey Hunts (best source for direct gear + crests)
Four quests available in Normal and Hard modes.
Normal Mode (4 quests)
- First 2 quests → Adventurer Gear + 15 Adventurer Crests + 120 Voidlight Marl
- Last 2 quests → 15 Adventurer Crests + 120 Voidlight Marl
Hard Mode (4 quests)
- First 2 quests → Veteran Gear + 15 Veteran Crests + 120 Voidlight Marl
- Last 2 quests → 15 Veteran Crests + 120 Voidlight Marl
Recommended order:
- 2 Normal hunts (for Adventurer Gear if needed)
- 4 Hard hunts total (2 for Veteran Gear + 2 more for Veteran Crests)
4. Random Prey Hunts (unlocked at Prey Rank 2)
- Farm random hunts → ALWAYS choose 15 Veteran Crests (fastest way to cap weekly limit)
5. Renown Farming (If not done last week)
- Farm Renown with all four factions to unlock Champion Gear rewards at each milestone
6. Mythic Dungeons
- Run all 8 available Mythic 0 dungeons (Veteran Gear chance on every boss)
7. Gear Fillers & Crest Capping
(For any remaining slots below Adventurer/Veteran level)
- Heroic Dungeons
- Kill Rares
- Complete Delves
Cap your Adventurer Crests before the week ends
Done! Following this will leave you fully geared, crested, and Spark-ready.
Pro tip: Complete Pinnacle Caches + Prey Hunts first for the biggest immediate power spike.
