How to Obtain the Sleepy Mandrake Battle Pet in Naigtal
The Sleepy Mandrake is a unique, non-tradeable battle pet hidden deep in the new Naigtal zone. This adorable purple sprout has been sleeping in his cozy cave, waiting for his favorite mushrooms to return.
“Nestled in his cozy cave, this little mandrake sprout was one of the last. Over time though his favorite mushrooms stopped growing in his cave. So he decided to sleep... waiting for his favorite spores to blow in again.”
To wake him up and claim the pet, you must collect and feed him five special Redcap mushrooms scattered across the zone.
Step 1: Locate the Sleepy Mandrake
Open your Naigtal map and head to the eastern fungal area near the Mouldstorm region (look for the highlighted cave spot).
Enter the hidden cave tucked among the rocks and bones.
Inside you’ll find the sleeping purple mandrake sprout. Interact with him — he’ll wake up hungry and start smacking his lips, waiting for the Redcaps.
Step 2: Collect and Feed the Five Redcaps
Return to him after looting each one and feed it directly (right-click or use the item). He accepts them in any order, but Highland is usually first.
1. Highland Redcap (Elevated Jumping Puzzle)
Jump onto a tall mushroom platform.
Find the flying boats patrolling in two looping paths.
Board the boat that heads toward the east side of the map (it’s RNG — hop on until you get the right one).
Ride up, jump off at the highest mushroom ledge, then carefully drop/jump down to the glowing item location.
Loot the Highland Redcap and feed it to the mandrake.

Located inside The tomb “Vilaldoun”
4. Marshy Redcap
Inside a dark cave in the marshy section of Naigtal.
Check the western/southern blue-lit caves near the water. The map circle usually highlights this area.
5. Partially Digested Redcap (The Kill)
Kill the specific purple/pink Fungal Giant (not the normal ones — it has a distinct pinkish-purple glow and model).
Loot the mushroom directly from its corpse. The giant is usually found in the upper fungal/giant spawn areas (yellow circle on the map).
Final Step
After feeding all five Redcaps, the Sleepy Mandrake will fully wake up, emote happily, and the battle pet will be added to your collection automatically (binds on obtain).
