Warrants Outdoor Activity in Patch 11.2: Everything You Need to Know

One of the main activities in Patch 11.2 is the new Warrants system. Here’s a detailed breakdown of how it works, how to unlock it, what you actually do each week, and the rewards for participating!

Unlocking Warrants

  • Story Progression:
You must reach Chapter 3 of the 11.2 campaign. This means you’ll typically have access to warrants in the first week of the patch.

  • Artifact Back Required:
Make sure you have your artifact back unlocked as well.

  • Renown 3 (Maybe?):
The renown track says you need renown 3 to unlock warrants. However, on PTR and current release candidates, this restriction doesn’t seem enforced. Either way, by Chapter 3 you’ll be close to renown 3.

Getting Your Warrant

  • Quest Location:
Head to Tazesh and look for Constable Zardas.

  • How It Works:

    • Zardas gives you a quest to eliminate threats to Tazesh.

    • On his wagon, you’ll find wanted posters (warrants) for special rare mobs.

    • You get one warrant per week, and which rare you get is randomized per account—everyone gets a different warrant each week!

List of Warrant Rares

There aresix warrant raresyou can get:

  • Halibane

  • Cybox the Twisted

  • Shadow Pulse

  • Grubber

  • Arcanamonger

  • Purple Pete

How to Complete a Warrant

  1. Pick Up the Warrant Quest:
Accept your weekly warrant from the posters.

  2. Complete Three Prerequisite Quests:

    • Each warrant requires you to finish three quests to collect an item that will spawn your rare.

    • These can involve gathering items like meat, keys, or other objects.

    • At least one quest is always in phasing, while the other two are outside (sometimes even in delves).

  3. Get the Spawn Item:
Once you complete all three, you receive the quest item needed to spawn the rare.

  4. Spawn & Kill the Rare:

    • Use the quest item to spawn the rare.

    • Anyone nearby can kill it for normal rare loot, but only players with the matching warrant can spawn it.

    • Rewards include rep, milestones, gold, and car quests.

Pro Tip: Don’t Turn in the Final Quest Right Away!

  • Unlimited Spawns:
Once you have the rare’s spawn item, you can spawn the rare as many times as you want during the week.
Tip: Help others or farm the rare daily before finally turning in the quest at the end of the week!

  • Daily Opportunity:
Since the rare can be spawned every day, you can maximize loot and help friends.

Warrant Rewards

  • Weekly Rewards:

    • 400 reputation (first warrant each week)

    • 3 Ethereal Strands (for your artifact back)

    • Other rare loot

  • Meta Rewards:

    • Mount & Pet Quests:

      • Complete four warrants to get the Bounty Seeker pet (Starlight).

      • Complete all six warrants (takes six weeks) to get the Terror of the Night mount.

    • Achievements:

      • Progress towards achievements for completing warrants.

Why Randomized Warrants Are Good

Since every player gets a different warrant each week, you can team up and help each other spawn multiple rares for extra loot and faster progress!

TheWarrants systemin 11.2 is a weekly activity centered around tracking down and spawning special rares. It’s designed to last for at least six weeks (one rare per week), with cool rewards like pets, mounts, and artifact upgrade materials.Don’t turn in your warrant right away—help others and farm while you can!
